About

I'm Monte Kim, a software engineer, backend by preference and full-stack in practice, and I like owning the whole path: Terraform and CI/CD at the bottom, Spring Boot APIs in the middle, Next.js consoles on top.

Before software I wrote music: released tracks, film scores, ad music. That's what led me to found Muroom, a studio search platform for musicians. I still think building products is closer to composing than engineering textbooks admit.

Now
Building the fitness platform at Moty in Seoul. Moving to the UK in October 2026 on a Youth Mobility Scheme visa, so no sponsorship is needed. Open to software engineering roles (backend / full-stack) in London.
